Honestly same boat here, saw Big Candy pop up in an ad and nearly had a slap at it before I could find a single solid review from an Aussie punter 😅 That silence is what worries me more than anything - legit places usually have at least a few people talking about their cashouts somewhere. Still learning bonuses myself so I don't trust my own judgement on this stuff yet. Has anyone here actually gone through their KYC without drama? Even a rough idea of how long the withdrawal sat pending would help. Otherwise I'm staying put at the local club with my pokies budget 🤔🙏

Silence cuts both ways, mate - half the time these candy-style sites are quiet because nobody's actually been paid, the other half because nobody's been silly enough to try. I keep my offline money at the club these days, so I can't help you on their KYC, but I'd want to see at least one punter walk away with a cashout before I hand over anything. Greed's a poor business partner 😉

Something I've noticed over the years: a site targeting Aussies that can't even be bothered posting a licence name is basically announcing its intentions. My rule of thumb before any deposit is to do the maths on the worst case, assume the cashout never arrives, and ask whether you'd still be comfortable with the A$ you'd put in. Gary's right that silence usually means nobody's been paid; nobody posts about a withdrawal that's still "pending verification" eight weeks later. I'd wait until someone here actually clears their KYC before either of you touches it.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but when everyone says KYC, what actually happens with that? 😅 Like do they want your passport and a bill with your address on it, or is it just an email thing? I've only ever played at the local club where you just walk in, so all this ID stuff online is new to me. If Big Candy does ask for all that before a cashout, would you lot still send it through, or does giving them that info worry you even more? Cheers Gary for the heads up by the way 🙏

No dumb question at all, mate. KYC just means they want ID before you withdraw, passport or licence, a utility bill for address, sometimes a selfie holding the docs. Difference from your local club: there you flash your card at the door and that's it; online they hold your cash hostage until the paperwork pleases them. And when a site like Big Candy won't even name its licence, I'd want that KYC to be smooth as silk before sending a cent - my Queen of the Nile bankroll days taught me patience, but not that kind 😉

I'll chip in with a slightly uncomfortable angle: even if someone here did get paid once, that proves very little. One cashout anecdote tells you nothing about the distribution. Your sample of their honesty is tiny, and offshore outfits are perfectly happy to pay a few small withdrawals early to farm exactly those testimonials, then start stalling once someone hits a decent balance and the KYC round starts. For RideTheVariance247, SteveWins599 covered the mechanics, but the part worth adding is timing. KYC before you deposit is a five-minute inconvenience; KYC after you've won is where the leverage sits, because they control the clock. A licensed operator has a regulator you can actually complain to if they drag their feet. An offshore site with no licence name posted anywhere? Your only recourse is a chargeback and a strongly worded email. So the question isn't really "has anyone been paid", it's "does anyone know who regulates them", and so far that answer looks like no.

Cheers Steve, that actually clears it up a bit 😅 so if I tried these blokes they could ask for my licence photo mid-cashout? That's the bit that gets me - handing over ID docs to a site nobody here can vouch for, maybe I'm being dumb but I'd rather find out the KYC works before sending anything.🙏

Gary's got a point worth pressing, but I'd add the other side of it: one successful cashout proves nothing about the next one, so asking for someone's single win story is the wrong test anyway. What I'd want to know is whether their KYC process is consistent, same docs every time, no moving the goalposts mid-withdrawal. And LuckyLady, your instinct is right; handing a licence photo to an unverified offshore site is a real risk on its own, worth thinking about before the deposit stage even comes up. 📊

Jack makes a fair point but if nobody here's even cleared KYC with them, that silence says enough for me. Sticking to the local pokies until someone vouches 🙏

Feels dodgy to me too, no KYC feedback anywhere is a red flag 😅 sticking with the pokies at the pub till someone here vouches 🙏
